But no, it took them longer to ban the dolphin who just has to switch out once and then it's God

Next it'll be Garganacl or some shit, then they'll ban terastalising as a whole

The current metagame is limited without Home, so very few counterplay exists for those three.

• Palafin is walled by Zapdos and several bulky waters, but Zapdos and said bulky waters don't exist outside of Dondozo, so nothing can really stop it.
• Good Infiltrator mons are literally just Dragapult and Noivern.
• Iron Bundle has good defense so most priority doesn't kill it. The HDB set is basically guaranteed to take out something with how fast it is.

To me it feels like the "wide" meta has been exactly the same since gen 7. At least for a few months after a new gens out you actually have a meta that isnt just landerous and incineror for once

There's literally nothing you can do if a Palafin does Bulk Up in-front of you.

You can just hope that your Palafin gets to do Bulk Up first.

The only reliable counter is Unaware Dondozo, which means every single team needs a Palafin and a Dondozo on it to be competitive. That's the definition of limiting on the meta.

That way every can swap their dittos for shiny breeding

There's also trade codes for version exclusives

If you're trying to trade one for the other then just put in the code

And then code 4448-4448 for language swapping dittos

Look, dunsparce is derpy and I love his derpiness...but it could've been kind of like the idea of Dudunsparce but way longer, and not just 2 or 3 segments and you could've had to kill multiple dunsparce to get the evolution! It just feels like they didn't think outside of the box on this one.

Very few good moves to actually make use of Serene Grace (upgrading from Headbutt to Iron Head would have been obvious)

It's not dragon/normal, which actually could have worked well with coil/dragon Rush/serene grace for flinch but without the stab it's not really worth it

Look, I'm not expecting something awesome...but something that is a great gift for dunsparce, since it was a rare pokemon and didn't get anything since gen 2

It's signature makes no use of Serene Grace either, and whilst busting protection is good it could have been given something like a percentage crit chance which would be boosted allowing Dundunsparce to be at least some sort of bulk-setup killer

My best idea would be glare + coil + Zen headbutt + dragon Rush but that means no hyper drill and no sustain

And far more irritatingly, it has a bunch of special attacks (many with percentage effects that would be boosted) and yet they gave it poor special attack

I kind of like Dudunsparce's design

Especially given the nature of this Gen's normal type gym leader

But I feel kit wise it's wasted potential
