One thing this game does super well that nobody really talks about is some of the quality of life and menu interface stuff

Being able to heal a mon by pressing - in the main menu without choosing an item is amazing. And the fact that you can cancel out of the menu before the healing bar animation is finished is such a huge step up from all previous games

Water starter is so amazing. I think it just looks like too much is going on because they put so much into the pokemon like personality and animation. The pokedex entry actually explained more with the connection because the middle evo would work on their legs. They both have the same hat.
