Trainers can be 96x96, same as Pokémon, but I think they're very, very rarely above 64x64. 🙂

Overworlds are different, they're a set square (I think 32x32) for each direction, though pretty much none of them take up the maximum space. 😅

hi, im trying to change the male protoganist sprite, i swapped the names of the blue and red character files of the male sprites, but it does need seem to have changed, so basically i ask, what files do i need to swap/rename/change etc to change the playable male charatcer
