Basically, from what I know, Aseprite is open source on GitHub which means that you can download it for free, but you need to compile it yourself if you do which is Very Difficult. Otherwise you can buy it as a one time purchase. Despite my compiled version being outdated, it’s so helpful that I’m 100% planning to buy it soon so I have the newest version. Plus it’s still being regularly updated and improved upon. If you want a computer program for pixel art, I’d 110% recommend it.

Not really, as long as get the Spriter role, and have your sprites go through the feedback process within #1050404143807873157 & checking if they're G2G via this channel here, #is-my-sprite-ready, that's about it.

Only times you'd really need to ping someone is if you're using a person's custom base and need to credit, pinging a user after requesting a request, or just b/c you feel like it.

hey a small question
I had some eggs altered but patched the game just now and realized it overwrote my altered eggs

as such I am now wondering if its possible to load the eggs up with the custom battlers folder so they are saved in the future after I have remade them
and if so, how would I need to do that seeing I cant really go around and use the same numbers and assume the game knows how egg sprites look XD

I did not, yet, I added the sprites to the battler folder
but with the patch that folder got overwritten and with it I lost my own egg designs

which is why I wanted to ask if there is a way to add custom eggs to the custom battler indexed folder, as it did not overwrite that one for obvious reasons

Hey @proud jay! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!
