Most image editing software will do the job, but here are some commonly used examples:

Piskel: Beginner-friendly, easy to use, doesn't require a download. To resize cleanly, either export at a 3.0x scale using the slider, or click resize and set the width/height to 288x288 with "Resize canvas content" toggled. Link: piskelapp.com

Paint.Net: Intuitive and free, requires a download. To resize cleanly, go to Image > Resize, and turn Resampling to "Nearest Neighbour". Link: getpaint.net

Yeah, the other day I got a complaint for deleting old spritework posts for this reason. This was one of the posts I deleted. I was still super new at the time and thought that's what you were supposed to do before you posted to the gallery.
Like I said before, it won't happen again. That was the last of my deleted posts though so it wont be an issue anymore. If that's not OK then just remove it from the sprite gallery and let me know and I'll post it to spritework again. V sorry.

Hey @noble summit! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!
