the portion where the light overlaps with the lampily is very weird; you went with showing the outlines of the light but not actually changing the colour of the body that we would be seeing through the light. I would brighten it due to the fact that when looking through a white light like that, it would be shining on the body. It also doesn't appear to actually come out of the head aka where the eyes and that flame is, it looks like it's coming from underneath the head. The light should probably also be a bit more of a yellow, due to pure white light being very unnatural, unless that's the effect your going for. The overall body looks good, but the light has a few things

It can handle more, but it’s better when the palettes are around that range. It matches other counterparts better. (Like if I made a Grimer fusion with 27 colors, it’d be off comparing it to other Grimers)

sorry to bother but I have a question as someone interested into getting into spriting in the server. In the guidelines it supplies sprite for all of the gens but I also know that there are only about 420 pokemon within the infinite fusion game itself, so when making fusion sprites can you only make from those 420, or is it that you can make any fusion throughout the game series however just certain ones can't be included in the game due to pokemon restrictions?

Hey guys, is there any place for sprites that aren't Pokemon (like trainer sprites, tiles etc.)? Years ago I was actually working on my own Pokemon game project so I kinda have some stuff lying around.
Also what about completely new Pokemon sprites (not fusions)? These here might have been some of the best ones I made back in the days - probably dump them in the Spritework Resources if anyone's interested?

what spriting program feels the closest to photoshop, any recommendations?
also what generation do most people use to make their sprites, I have never actually played infinite fusion so are there different styles or is it just all one mesh

For the closest program to photoshop i'm not sure; but there are a bunch of recommendations in #spriting-guidelines. As for the style, sprites have to be made in a gen 5 style using gen five colours and looks etc
