If I remember correctly (I never hosted one so I'm not sure 🚎), the polls are divided in 3 branches. The first bracket decides which sprites go to which tree and which get eliminated. Then all the following brackets each clash only two sprites from the same branch, and the loser goes to a lower branch, unless it was already in the lowest one, in this case it gets eliminated (just like olympics)
