I had to put everything in in a weird order so that the right things went into the losing bracket, and because I couldn't customise the sizes of the brackets I had to mathematically figure out how many FREE SPACEs I needed in order to manipulate the positions and stuff. But it was still way easier than having to manually keep track of the brackets.
So yeah it's confusing, but if you just trust me when I say that it's fair then it'll all work out. 😎

So long as nothing happens over in contest land and contests are allowed to take a break, I'm obviously not going to stand against people making sprites.
What was previously discussed in the staff chat was a pretty direct replacement for contests for a time, which is what defeats the point of the break. Making sprites of Pokémon from Route 7 or sprites that resemble weird themes like "glass" is something I wouldn't try and stand in the way of.
