social anxiety, fear of judgement, specifically the fear of being seen as a inferior and inadequate, as opposed to the cool and amazing person i want to be, hence the broken claydol shell (that has exploud and loudred details) revealing the teeny scared whismur inside. then the eyes watching it are of course because the fear comes from being seen by others as something negative. but that anxiety all happens in one's own head, so i though it fit that the eyes judging it would be its own 🙂

yes its not a conventional fusion, but for a good reason
Kiwi's sprite was my fav, because it sold the concept of the fear really well, as well as being a good fusion sprite
however, calis entry imo was the best design, but not more than that, didnt sell a particular fear well
so love it or hate it, but i tried to accomplish selling a fear 🤷‍♂️

Well as suspicious as it is, my personal favourite was this entry by @lime latch. I liked how simple it was despite getting across the fear well, and how it utilised Exeggcute in a different way than usual. Only having one of the eggs was just a simple yet brilliant concept in my eyes.
I liked a lot of entries in this competition, but this one was my favourite and gets the Isaac Award.

Was just wondering. I made it 4 because then it was a full week for each contest, but I felt like that wasn't so important now that they were staggered, so if anyone did want anything more I'd have considered it.

Pre-evolutions are more fun because it doesn't devolve into who can make the biggest, most kaiju-like sprite like a lot of other contests do. Some cutesy ones like Mantine are an exception in that regard though, that contest was fun too. 😄

I can technically weigh them if I do two polls for each bracket, one being first choice and one being second choice. The problem is, people could just give three votes to one entry.

Based on the responses so far, it seems like most people want the Classic Competitions to be based off of the Pokémon with the least sprites every other Classic, which is roughly once a month. With this in mind, I'll probably try and time it so that said contest happens just after Chippy uploads the new sprite pack, so I stay on top of things and am using updated information.
