I don't think that's a good idea because the sprites wouldn't fit in. Some GSC ones (like Raticate/Grimer) were specifically reworked to fit in more with the DS style. 😅

I think there is a difference between something lime "Ninja theme", which could be references or just fitting fusions as opposed to "digimon", which is way more specific and would not be interesting to a lot of people

My favourites are probably the Hypno/ Galarian weezing, the muk/ho-oh and the Galarian Rapidash/gardevoir!
I love the concept behind the Hypno one! It's a creative use of the concepts behind the sprites. The muk and ho-oh is a well executed sprite and both Pokémon's themes work well together!
The gardevoir has an amazing pose for it! I'd have to say mine is probably the worst one on there compared to the others!

I'll also say what I like about the other two entries in the final round. The skarmory and Galarian Zapdos is in a cool pose and I love how the colours have been used for it! I also really like how they've done the metal parts on it!
The Alolan sandslash and rapidash one is very cool! The ice coming out of the back looks amazing, much better than what the ice I made looks like, and the aurora borealis looks so good and is a creative way to incorporate the flame!
To be honest, I find everyone's sprites on this server inspiring. I like looking through the gallery and seeing the plethora of ideas that people have come up with!

Ah yes, sometimes you will. Everyone who does art lacks ideas from time to time and that's ok. What I usually do to generate ideas is either look at other people's fusion ideas, use the fusion generator or use ideas from myths, stories and legends in order to generate an ideas bank.

Nice! I also sometimes want to do a sprite and make one depending on what type of sprite I want to make. For example, sometimes I want to do a cute sprite and so I look through and see which Pokémon may look cute together!

Anyway, this time my personal favourite entry was known to me the second I saw it, and was the reason I questioned if I should be allowed to give it out to the sprite that won, since I thought it might well do that. I was somewhat surprised at how well it did given that this person has never managed to appeal to the "meta" of competitions before now.
Anyway, my favourite sprite this time was the Alolan Muk/Ho-Oh submitted by none other than @wind topaz. Congrats man, have a blinking Isaac face.

@misty acorn it's the invisible Kecleon. It broke the software that creates the brackets because it wasn't able to read an "empty" image. No other entry has, in and of itself, completely broken the software.
