You'd pick your starter and have to progress through a "region" week by week, making choices about trying to catch new pokemon, grind for levels or look for items. Eventually you'll have to do Showdown matches against Gym Leaders with your team to prove they're strong enough.

You can only use pokemon in your team that have sprites, and as your pokemon get evolved you'll have to make sure those new stages are sprited. I might allow non-IF to make sure people have lots of spriting options.

If you want to be primarily the second gym, you can go for 2-3 pokemon in the level 15-22 range! If you go for 2 pokemon, they can be a hit higher in that range.

Non-IF pokemon (and therefore fusions) are allowed if you wish! It's no rush to get them done if you're going to be making new ones, but I would like them to be your own sprites.

Yeah you're going to be level appropriate. I'd say one TM move for the third gym onwards, two for sixth. Items okay as long as it's not like, a Choice Band or something.

Can always tweak stuff later so it doesn't need to be perfect first time.
