I used to make alot of sprite but I've gotten alot more perfectionistic (bot negative and positive) but it does mean that sometimes i look at the clock when spriting and 3 hours have passed

the reward is the motivation, but many people would just do it for fun,thas their reward, but that “fun” of your might not fit with the judge, and it get bad score, of course, even with low expectations, it still hurt a lot

which it a fair reason bc more effort mean more score, thou i think we shouldn’t demotivated them as such with low score

yeah but the term bug doesn't usually refer to insects, in a scientific context it's hemiptera and in a casual context it's usually just about any arthropod

but in this case not being a bug is like the whole point of lurantis

anyway, i think lurantis doesn't work as well for conceptual fusions as, say, mimikyu because the design is much more complex and the deception is very specific 🤔
it's easier to take the idea of "shoddily mimicking another pokemon" and extrapolate that to many other body shapes than "effectively mimicking a bug"
though yeah, i definitely could look at sudowoodo fusions for inspiration and see what they do
