I did my farming for it in the cave near the power plant. go down 1 floor. have a mon with compound eyes as lead, and I just switched to a mon with frisk when finding cubones. you can also just use theif and ko each one. just make sure your mon has no item equipt like I did and have to find a second mon with a thick club..

This was an interesting concept. I ran this as close to Kaizo IronMON as possible. Slight adjustments to account for the game design, such as the pokemon tower heal square (avoided trainers on the way up and could only clear on the way down) and The moves not being randomized or whether or not a gym TM could be used (used Google coin flip)

In order to run the mon and still be somewhat close to that ruleset and still utilize the fuse function I made it where if I pivoted off the starter (I did) I could only replace the older half of the mon, or I could catch two in the same grass but had to be used which is what I did.

I came across an Vaporeon and Espeon both. So I ran with it lol

This was 100% a deathless run with most locations full cleared.

Big bird was dealt with by Muddy Water. And a tbolt took me to 1 HP because of COURSE that was the bird that survived

Fuse your desired Pokemon with a Nincada, evolve the Nincada fusion while you have only 5 Pokemon in your party, and you will end up with a Ninjask and Shedinja fused with your other Pokemon 😉

just did a nuzlocke soul fusion with my friend. we turned off the dying rules at the elite four because the remix version was pretty hard lol. So we had unlimited tries but could only use revives if he picked any up naturally. nothing bought for revives.

took me like 20 tries to work out the puzzle but finished elite and blue with garchomp/salamence, absol/tyrantum, Volcarona/Snorlax, ARcanine/Metagross, Chesnaught/Gyarados, doublade/lucario.

we still had to use the same fusions with all pokemon soul linked. we also stopped farming any money or getting items other than with money we had or got from positive elite four runs.

we also only used what held items and tm/hms we had plus move tutor if we had money.

we were soul linked and nuzlocke. so we had to use things that were linked to each other for the fusions that we caught in the same area. so it made some awkward or meaningless fusions. and not some of the best. my chestnaught/gyarados looked better with the chestnaught body but the typing for the elite 4 was better that way.

like my arcanine metagross I wasn't a fan of but it let him use an arcanine/garchomp which was much better for him. it did ok but only helped me in a few spots and was useless in most. it also had a better skin (marginally) with the other body but this typing was better for the elite four. My chesdos was really good tbf but we had it like that because his blaziken/gyarados was just helping him a lot and was really useful.

also his sprites for the better head/body combo just had better sprites in general lol.

I've noticed if you plan your fusions and new game + over, it reduces the need to catch. Catching new pokemon tends to increase the time.

Yeah after over twenty playthroughs I've really started planning out m uh teams pretty rigorously to where I barely even fuse anymore outside of my final team.

And ng+ feels like cheating to me, already having all the funds and items I could ever need from the start takes out what little challenge remains to the game as a whole
