and i think it really shows what makes this game great

because these guys were fun as fuck

they balance each other out in ways you wouldnt expect

like ampharos gives magcargo a special rock stab that isnt ancient power

sunflora getting steel type and pretty decent bulk

ariados getting psychic typing and zen headbutt with amazing attack and speed

quiver dance with darkrai's insane special attack stat

even rayquaza found a way to benefit from ledian

ledian learns acrobatics while rayquay doesnt

Biggest problem was the physical attackers, since Roserade only has 55 Def. So the solution was to send in Whimsicott/Roserade to use priority Charm, Leech Seed, Toxic and Giga Drain.

yeah i was the same, i didn't want to have shared weaknesses among my team, i didn't want them to have over 3 different types they're weak too, i wanted to optimize their stats, give them good coverage, a good strat, have 3 physicals and 3 specials...

i even went as far as counting the gens i was representing, i wanted 3 4 and 5 to have 3 reps each and the last 3 be divided among 1 and 2

but honestly i'm very happy with the team i ended up making. This is by far the best balanced team i ever did in a pokemon game, it's like every single one of them is a potential game carrier. They're extremely pleasant to use too

Roserona just sets up and sweeps everything, Azumachomp OHKOs most stuff, Snorking is almost unkillable if played right with slack off and leftovers, Chandevoir has 4 immunities and only two weaknesses, one of which is to steel type and the other ghost which she's also stab SE against, Hydrekazam is super fast and hits very hard, can flinch with dark pulse, and it's also not as frail as regular Alakazam. And Shedario is Shedario

I had originally gotten the mudkip/Machop fusion from a wondertrade early on. Pretty lucky!

You can catch all starters on the river next to the hidden forest || you can get there by going left of the fly hm lady house, then once on the river going in will spawn some starters and going out and in again will spawn others ||
