Gen 5's Bug Pokemon in general were peak. Galvantula, Crustle, and Leavanny good too. Accelgor and Excavalier were pretty cool too. Although I am one of those people who slightly prefers Volcarona more though, I will say that a lot of them are great.

i feel like the cool bug designs after gen 5 are few and far between ngl. vikavolt was cool, and maybe like orbeetle i guess; i guess the ubs too (i wasnt really a fan of those) . idk why but game freak really cooked with the bugs in 2010. genesect is one of my favorite mythicals as well. centiskorch was also great. i think gen 9 has some solid ones too

ayyyy hallf of fameeee.

this one was a hardcore nuzlock run,hence the debug mode.I cheated rare candies in. get over it.
plus points: using fusions you didn't expect to,like grungs on the up middle there. team building is also a challenge.specifically since i had the luck to run into 5 diferent agroon fusions,3 diferent politoad fusions, two of which were water/ground,and a few other half-repeats. tension is high,and not knowing what to expect in boss battles was fun.

minus points: playing to avoid literally all trainer encounters is miserable. I also had the briliant idea to randomize the items. and didn't use dynamic mode.the result? inventory is literally full of XXXXXX accuracies that I cant use because rules of the challenge, 20 super incubators while I hatched a single egg in the run, my berry tab filled with poffin making berries, and TMs were also a huge mess ending with me finding rock smash... in victory road. great. didn't even knew tms could repeat. lots of pushover gyms mixed with dificulty spikes out of nowhere as well,with me almost wiping two times during the run,once to sewer giovani who took 5 out of my 6 mons, and koga, who got me to my last mon with 10HP, and died to his own flare blitz recoil before he could take me out.

do I recomend doing a run like this? hell no. do either the nuzlock or the randomizer. if in doubt,do the randomizer. nuzlocking like this literally makes the game worse in my humble opinion. the level cap is pretty much the only fun part of the challenge if you ask me.
