First Randomizer Nuzlocke HoF. All the others failed miserably. I lost.. I think like, 30+ this run.

my first modern mode victory, and it was my first time attempting a monotype challenge. As you can see, Poison only (all major fights had to be cleared with an exclusively poison type roster). It was surprisingly tough to find strong fusions with poison types that maintained the poison typing, due to a list of moveset complications i wasnt expecting. On the other end, some of these pokemon were intensely awesome in ways i wasnt expecting. I intend on doing the postgame content before moving onto the next run, but this was fun as hell.

From a gameplay standpoint, electivire/hitmonchan with iron fist thunderpunch seems like the best strategy by far

Well not really: electric is the only type that hits laphlosion for super effective damage without being hit back super-effectively, so electric is still the best option... but laphlosion has insane bulk: 112/78/91, so physical attacks are the best option. The best physical electric type (not counting the legendary zekrom) is electivire with base 123 attack. When fusing it with something you also want your special bulk to at least be decent so that you can take a hit if you cant one-shot it, and you definitely need to be able to outspeed it

Thanks! Umbdoom looks SO cool, I love it. And the bulk from Umbreon means that Houndoom moveset is suddenly much more viable, which means she and the Togekazam were the MVP sweepers during the E4 themselves.

But I think my Snoroir was MVP overall, we had to do a bit of heal-stalling to get through the Champion fight and she can take a HIT.
