I wish that in this direct they do one of 3 things,

1. Don't announce a main series game (unlikely)
2. Show game footage but actually take in the criticism they get and change it for the better (probably even more unlikely)
3. Say that a new mainline is coming but don't show footage (about as likely as the first one)

all in all I am still excited to see the direct, but I know that I will most likely be disappointed

In fact the number of days they've been developing the games dropped more and more.

Since DP are my favorite games of the series I would've had high expectations but now I just hope they leave most of the things from the OG games untouched and give us an option to turn of the Exp Share lol.

And my biggest fear is that they sell Darkrai and Co as DLC. I really hope they won't but it's what would make sense imo.

My idea for a battle system would be that both selected moves are used at the same time, with the speed stats being used for something else from this point.

So if 2 pokemon attack each other with two physical moves, they will clash in a little animation and both lose hp. And then you could do some extra stuff for when 2 specific moves clash. Like, if fire fang and aqua tail clash, the power of fire fang will be reduced and stuff.
There would obviously be a lot more to it, but I'm too lazy to type everything out
