other 2 people having this issue seem to be not getting replies online.
Here's what I would do
first we need to figure out whether its the program or the rom
- Try another rom that isnt black and white to see if you get the same error.
- make sure the rom itself was never edited before (rom hacks cannot be used in the randomizer, even if it was small edits. If the code was changed at all it can mess with the randomizer's ability to read it)
- if the same thing happens with another rom, then uninstall and reinstall the randomizer
- If the other rom is successfully randomized, replace the faulty rom
I personally would reinstall all of it to be safe but thats just me
(sorry my reply was a little late, I just woke up)

yryr at the end of the day but when i do swsh runs i allow my self to do raids so i can get exp candies to help grinding and for the tms but i dont throw balls at the mons (unless its my encounter)

personally i wouldnt just because i dont allow myself in my runs to use outside data from other things to get mons or evolutions i wouldnt normally get ie hacking in nat dex in frlg to get crobat or hacking in a razor fang to get weavile in xy
only acception i make is the island scan qr codes to get an island scan mon in replace of the regular route counter

late but I generally do the same as looker unless it's a raid-only run. as for the pikachu I can see that being taken as a gift. I personally slot it in with the eevee and slowpoke gifts so there's still a choice there (either pikachu or slowpoke, though the latter is technically from another station)
