basically enemy EVs give you less wiggle room to work with but if you aren't doing a special challenge run like a nuzlocke then it shouldn't matter much.

you're welcome. overall don't worry about it unless you get a defense lowering nature then it might get a bit dicy but nothing too unreasonable

(technically gen 9 has enemy EVs too but only 252 HP's on the enemy tera mons so they stick around a bit longer, I don't think anything in that gen has other EVs outside of the DLC but I could be wrong on that)

and also some decks that can ramp even faster, serp + leafy x2 looking at you
but yea heavy helmet works well for Magcargo cheesing the AI decks since it does have a 3 retreat cost, though I do wanna try out a bit more stuff with Memory Light once I get into the new deck since that feels like a fun tool to play around with

between wug, meow, and bax you shouldn't have too many issues on round 1, round 2 might get a bit dicy with pawmot doing most of the work (though it helps that the one that's neutral to fighting is also weak to electric), round 3 is more pawmot fun (guest starring bax and garg) while round four is Dach's time to shine
round 5 basically "sightread it I guess" but meow generally has good matchups to most things on the team
I think my only specific bit of advice would be to have a backup electric move for Pawmot on round 3 since Double electric shock leaves you a sitting duck after you've used it there (in contrast to round 2 where there's not much of a drawback to firing it off) if you haven't tera'ed

no, you're forced to always use the move you last used with both CB and gorilla... which in this case is belly drum itself, so you're not allowed to attack if you do that
(the idea is that you run four attacking moves and blow something up on your one turn then switch out which means that for a carry it's awful but can do wonders as a backup)

also one really nice thing about gourgeist is that gourgeist's passives are different for each size
so in my case I usually run large (which is normally it's worst form) since well-baked body works out so well in denying fire types
actually I think normal's worst I forget if large can do the silly thing of outrunning 130's at +1

also yea leaf guard is a very nothingburger ability, I think the only time I've seen it do good work is in gen 9's tera raids when I was using leafeon against the pikachu event at the start of 2023, and that's still pretty niche considering zarude's move heals statuses right?
