I do a mostly normal nuz but every time I obtain a mon I have to physically draw them before I can use them

It's a nuzlocke where you can only catch pokemon of red orange yellow green blue and purple and brown. Then you can only catch a color you own or a color next to a color you own. And if you wanna catch brown you must have access to all 6 other colors and sacrifice two pokemon that are complementarity colors but then brown pokemon get 2 lives. Also as an added hard mode rule you can only allow switching to pokemon of the same color or the colors next to your active one

The big topic often started is like "I think if X is in Gen 1 it'll be really broken" and while we did get to Regice and the occasional insane portbacks like Slaking or whatever

One of my friends mentioned Vespiquen because 90 power Attack Order (bug move) with 62.5% crit rate by Gen 1 crit mechanics

And highkey I think that's on the same category as Regice

I have the huge honour to introduce my partner to the pokémon games. He has mainly seen the anime and only a few bits and pieces of gameplay from the first gen when he was a kid. After giving it much thought, i figured it would be nice to start with Black and White 2, since 1. I absolutely love Gen V and 2. Gen V has a lot of QOL and imporvements, but it still feels like a "classic" pokémon game.

Now here's the thing: He loves Togepi. And it really fits his vibe too, he's a sweet person who would definitely treat his pokémon with such love and care. He'd get a Togetic in no time.

Sadly, in B2/W2, Togepi is limited to a trade with Yancy/ Curtis in the post game. So we can't get one when we play the game before post game. But i really want to give him his favourite - So i figured that there must be a way to edit the rom to have a Togepi egg waiting for him in the PC or add an encounter or something like this.

But I have, like, -5 clue about editing roms, which tools to use etc. A google search wasn't exactly helpful either. There are options to randomize the game, manipulate starters and even stuff like editing text or maps... But i have no idea how to put one cute little Togepi into the game. I just want the vanilla experience plus one Togepi that is available earlier than post game.

But since there are tons of smart people around here who know a lot about fangames and modding, i figured i might ask here. Any suggestion for tools or tutorials or something like this? I really want to make my partner happy with his favourite 😊
