the slow run it was

the generic gen 4 team: infernape/luxray/staraptor/lucario and a pick two of eeveelution (plat), gastrodon, roserade, floatzel, and bronzong unless I'm missing one

I know kalos also has a pretty static team despite having 450 mons to choose from

which is starter, aegislash, talonflame, kanto starter, and a pick two of raichu, furfrou, eeveelution (almost always sylveon), snorlax, florges, lapras, goodra, gengar, or kalos fossil

out of those I'd say tackle, air slash, dazzling gleam, reflect, shock wave, and venoshock add a lot while encore, eruption, extrasensory, icicle spear, iron defense, self-destruct and wake-up slap offer near things. if you plan on going without these I'd a least consider some substitute in their place (like explosion for self destruct or cutting light screen too for reflect)

also imo: you lose basically nothing for cutting grudge in particular rofl

out of those I'd say ones maybe look at are branch poke, glacial lance, hold back (only if you lack false swipe), sparkling aria, and volt tackle; those ones might be a bit too niche unless you gave them better distribution (especially with volt tackle and glacial lance)

2. A move called Poke that does 1HP of damage without fail, which is just funny to me

you should make an OHKO move called “Screw You” that ignores evasion boosts to always hit and has +7 priority so it ignores protect and is every type at once so it can’t be blocked by abilities or typings

and only give it to Incineroar

oh and it’s a spread move that hits all opponents but no allies

a move called No Fun Allowed that has +8 priority and 100% flinch chance and ignores abilities like Inner Focus

dying in one hit is less annoying than dying to ten flinch hits

I forget what I did for her the last run but I recall it being really strange rofl

I think I actually did specifically bait out steamroller with umbreon because I didn't want my grass type to get para'ed by thunderpunch or 5x hit by rock blast
