My next idea for a GBA rom hack or PC fan game is to make it fully open world BUT you can also have fully customisable options for the game which includes a randomiser with advanced settings, a nuzlocke/challenge mode for those risking a challenge AND an option to set the catch rate, shiny rate, encounter rate for rarities to whatever you prefer for example if you want to catch shinies for a shinylocke then change the shiny rate to something like 1 in 10 and if you hate catching those damn legendaries and fully evolved starters or pseudo legendaries ie Dragonite, Tyranitar etc just set the catch rate to 255 which is the highest for 100% guaranteed captures.
Oh and you can catch and battle every Pokemon you want including Fakemon and current gen mons like up to Paldea and the DLC exclusives.

Am I right to say Pokemon Anil did this? I'm sure I did see a fan game (English translated btw) that attempted this where you can choose either story mode or open world mode.
