Those of you who always catches and uses an early route Flying type DO NOT CATCH Pidgey and it's evolved forms because they don't learn any decent damaging Flying moves as non are physical so it's best if you treated Spearow and Doduo as regional Kanto birds.
Staraptor, Talonflame and Corviknight are my favourites overall and I use them almost all the time (not Talonflame "all the time" as the base stats for physical attack and special attack are not the highest but the base speed is decently high)
