Flying Type Chart has an amazing immunity and 2 good resists, but 3 bad weaknesses. But offensively, it is largely unresisted, and has decent SE targets, with one of its resistances being a very poor defensive type that can be taken out by a lot of other types

It's a bit basic

But Flying has proven that it works extremely well for how basic it is

It helps that a lot of Flying types just get U-Turn, because fuck Bug types

I think the highest shiny odds in the series though outside of 100% are US/UM's 2/5 odds on certain species in the wormholes
