so mons just get bigger, run faster, hit harder, and are just generally stronger, and this all starts at about level 12
(BDSP is the other one with enemy EVs but BDSP also scales EVs up as you go so you son't fight a full 252/252 until at least gym 8)
(gens 8 and 9 do have some sneaky uses as well but most trainer mons don't have spreads in those games)
