If these berries ever came back for non-poffin/pokeblock purposes, what would they be capable of? would they increase/decrease stats? would they strengthen certain kinds of moves?

Since no one has said anything yet, I'll give out some of my ideas. And I was inspired by the berry descriptions:
Pamtre Berry: Adds the water type to any move that isn't a water type move.
Durin Berry: Allows the pokemon to recover from recharges.
Belue Berry: Causes the opposing pokemon to get inflicted with poison or paralysis via contact.
Cornn Berry: The next attack will attack multiple types, but it will be weaker.
Masgost Berry: Causes the opposing pokemon to get inflicted with infatuation via contact.
Rabuta Berry: Applies the Fur Coat ability to the pokemon for 3 turns.
Spelon Berry: Causes the opposing pokemon to get inflicted with burn via contact.
Watmel Berry: Grants the pokemon greater attack and defense, but their evasiveness will fall. This will last for 3-5 turns.
(And then there would be a berry that does the opposite effect.)

Or, based on some of the berries that appear in Pokemon Sleep:
Pamtre Berry: Makes certain flying type moves activate without recharge.
Durin Berry: Makes solar moves activate without recharge.
Belue Berry: Allows the Pokemon to become poisonous. This only works on steel types.
