if I was suggesting any change: please make classic mode medals based on final forms and not on base forms

I think the only mon currently where that's the case is with the hitmons since tyrogue's a baby mon

but it does make eevee feel a lot worse when you get one medal for any of the 8 forms

meanwhile if something does have a baby form (aside from togepi, riolu, and toxel) it's basically a two-for-one deal since you get the baby form's medal as well even if you never used it

also maybe add eviolite for the mons that like using it (dusclops, porygon2, charjabug, ect, ect)

but you can select those legendaries and shinies again for a future run as starters

with starters basically being a "best of" for all of that species you've obtained from catches and eggs

anything can be a starter but legendaries cost more than regular mons while shinies carry no additional cost

this also means, that for instance, if you found a shiny male combee but hatched a female then you can start a future run with a shiny female combee
