this is the grass type starter for my region. the first stage is a pure grass type called Emprantice it cant hold onto trees so it uses a grappling hook to move around the amazon. the second stage is called tamarinja which is a grass/fighting type. he has he now has a bigger bo staff and can fight with it better. the bo staff still can still be used as grappling hook which he still uses to move around. The third stage iscalled tamarensei. The grass/fighting type. he has even a bigger bo staff which he can break into 2 smaller ones. he can use it as a grappling hook still. it is rumored that when tamarensei's bo staff breaks and doesnt re attach to the other part it the grappling hook part will regrow the missing part. he gives the broken part to emprantice and teaches them to how to make the grappling hook.

Even then, the team surprisingly held their own well. It was less an issue of Flying weakness, strangely enough... Here, lemme see if I can pull up her team (I'm not sure if it can be different per run, but myeh):
She had a Corviknight, Skarmory, Altaria, Gliscor, Tera Flying Tropius, and Pelipper. Pelipper was easy to deal with, because her Hurricanes were no match for Carbink's defenses, same with Skarmory's Flash Cannons... Corviknight was a hassle, but I can manage him (after a fashion). The main issue was her Earthquake/Stone Axe Gliscor.

In the daily Mirage spot that naturally appears in the player's game, there will always be a hidden item; if a Mirage spot is received from StreetPass, it will not have a hidden item. Furthermore, while it is possible for a hidden item to regenerate on another day if a Mirage spot was naturally received (so long as the area can be refreshed without leaving the Mirage spot), this will not happen on a Mirage spot that was received by StreetPass.
On each type of daily Mirage spot, there are several possible items that can be hidden. The item that is present is controlled by a "slot" variable that applies to all daily Mirage spots. The hidden item slots for each daily Mirage spot correspond to the rows shown below.

so yep, ORAS will be your target. thankfully, unlike outbreaks, you don't lose the island as long as you're still on it. once you're on the island you're good to keep hunting even if the day passes
