usually if you do purify its for one of three reasons:

1. you could use a good mega of that mon, only applies to mons with megas and only if you don't have one yet
2. it's a 13/13/13 and I just cant resist (probably still bad idea anyway rofl)
3. the mon's movepool is so bad that it actually wants post-nerf return like wobbuffet

there is also one very special case with porygon or the regis but that's more of a meme reasoning anyway since it involves smeargle

I kind of expect a split versions Legends release. Or just a true split paths in one game more fleshed out.
Pokemon Legends: Black and White / Yin and Yang, or Pokémon Legends Gold and Silver.

I know people are thinking it'd be the singular gen being split rather than the 2 being combined like this, or like the concept art of the BW Legends being fused with the GS Legends (funny considering where we are)
I know something like this has never been done before but they always wanna surprise people so...
And even looking at PLA, it kinda has a soft route split, and think of it as a test run, they're Pokemon. They could and would definitely split the Legends games into 2. Even did it with PMD 1 & 2.
Even if it's more basic and basically the same game (B/W or G/S) rather than the elaborate theory I have.

That's basically been my only theory aside from SV dlc and the final mythical(s). Something PMD would be nice but us PMD fans are used to being served nothing.. At least it's not as bad as... Pokemon Ranger.
