Here’s the big deal with this: weather. The Fire mask thrives in sun to allow solar blade and makes Ivy Cudgel a scary sun boosted fire type attack. The water mask makes you immune to water due to water absorb, but also makes you a reliable attacker in rain, even with minimal investment. For Applin, you can also go to a specific tree in Tagtree Thicket to get infinite Applin

Someone at this point must of hacked the game to see the shinies of the shiny locked pokemon of the Teal Mask DLC right, IDK either way what do you think the shiny forms for Ogerpon, Loyal Trio, ||and/or Bloodmoon Ursaluna|| are like? My guess for Ogerpon is either Gold or Purple ||to the main body since Ogerpon's gimmick has it change the colors of the "Cloak" of hers depending on the mask||
