After all, my technically first shiny was a hacked duradolion from surprise trade

Actually, all Mews are pretty much running the same thing. Mud slap for accuracy, struggle bug for sp atk, acid spray for sp def, and x-scissor for tera bug stab.

I got jirachi from an old japan event that for some reason didn't have them trade locked. You can also get jirachi through a $5/$10 long field research in pogo too. I think that's all the ones we could get.

I am playing through a randomized run of white 2, and the ai's done something that completely surprised me. One of my pokemon on my team is a machop with the ability guts. im at a part where you team up with the rival, and his partner (which is a lampent) kept using will-o-wisp on my machop when I was out. I thought it was a bug in the ai, till I realized he was most likely purposefully using it on the machop to trigger guts. This games ai is insane sometimes I think

GENLOCKE RULES
Can only catch first mon in said area or route.
Mons must be nicknamed
If mon faints it is dead forever and must be perma boxed
Every alive mon after the champion fight will be made a second gen mon and pk hexed into the next game with a roman numeral to show the generation of the mon
Any previous champ mons that are not on the final team but in the champ box and alive will also get transferred over
Dupes clause based on game and current champ mons in game
Will allow myself to use pkhex to get rare candies for leveling up and for trade evos. But i dont allow pk hex for anything else
The game order will be as follows: fire red, heart gold, platinum, black, black 2, x, omega ruby, ultra moon
ima also add that if yall want you can chose a mon to claim so that if i encounter it as my encounter and catch it you can chose the nickname

really Idk why they decide to shiny lock some Pokémon only to release said shiny Pokémon via a mystery gift is rather annoying. Besides I'm not sure if the code can handle having a pokemon not having a shiny forn in the game. Maybe an exception was with I think Magearna with its base form since the Pokeball color has a shiny but base Magearna has like no difference?

base Magearna did get a shiny form in HOME, interestingly enough

but it didn't have one in the original games until SWSH 1.2

Marshadow was actually kind of similar since its base texture was the same, and only the flames on its Zenith "form" (attack animation) did

High potential for that. But they didn't lock the new Regi pokemon in crown tundra and unlocked a good portion of legendaries from a lock, you just have to go through the effort to get them which is a pain sometimes.

They are most definitely going to be shiny locked as a similar thing happened to the galarian birds back in Gen 8

and most importantly, all of the Gen 8 DLC legendaries are currently shiny locked

So something similar will most definitely happen
