i'm designing a pokemon region
i already have a fossil pokemon based on the dunkleosteus named "wolfraderm"
it's like the picture but my idea is that it has hard metal armor instead of bone, and its pre-evo eats mineral deposits in order to make the armor
the name comes from "wolfram" which is another name for tungsten, and "placoderm" which is the extinct group of fish that have that sort of boney armor on their heads
it's a water/steel type, and it has solid rock, and rock head as its hidden ability
it's supposed to be a slow, relatively tanky physical attacker
i also have a stegosaurus pokemon named "kaxisol", that has chlorophyll plates on its back, letting it get energy from the sun
it gets its name from "kaxitl", the aztec word for plate, and "sol" as in the sun
it's a ground/grass type with thick fat, and solar power as its hidden ability

both the ideas come from ledian being the "five star pokemon", so its evos are the "all-star pokemon" and the "superstar pokemon"

for the regional castform, it gets a new ability so it can copy both weather and terrain types, so it can be dual type, and while transformed its base stats increase from 70 to 90
and it gets a signature move that doubles in power from 50 to 100 during weather and/or terrain, and copies BOTH of castform's types if it's dual type

i also designed an evo for delcatty that has fur coat as its hidden ability, which doubles its physical defense
its name is calicomb, from calico cats, and combs, like the thing you use to brush hair
it has decently higher stats than delcatty but not fantastic
its signature move is brush, a status move that has a 50% chance to either raise both of the targets defenses by one stage or heal them for 25% of their max hp
yes i know the name just sounds like "caticomb" but shut up

Lol exp share is an item you put on a pokemon and it gains xp even though it wasn't used in combat

the bases for their names are:
alederm = alevin (a young fish) + placoderm (extinct group of armored fish)
wolfraderm = wolfram (alternative name for tungsten) + placoderm
kaxish = kaxitl (plate in the aztec language) + -ish (lesser)

i think they are pretty believable pokemon names
also notice how i removed the colon and space in wolfraderm's entry because the name is too long to fit x_x
