There's a certain je ne c'est quoi about it that makes me feel like it'd be good as a Fire/Psychic-type. And while yes, it has a good amount of Ghost-type moves. There's just a particular finesse that Ninetales has that makes it feel a bit more like it'd be a Fire/Psychic and not Fire/Ghost.

I was playing National Dex on showdown, and some guy led with a Blissey that had Recycle, Block, and Wish. It used Block so I couldnt switch out, then spammed wish so it couldnt die, then whenever it ran out of PP, it would recycle a berry that refilled its PP. Then when it ran out of recycles, the berry refilled those too. It was basically an infinite stall. I still managed to win by letting my pokemon die from struggle and switching to a better one, but man that was annoying. Dont know why either that PP berry or Recycle aren’t banned.

I did get it to like 10% HP a couple times with some crits though. Probably could have killed it if I’d terrastalized, but didnt want to waste that on a stall mon.

i created a Gyrados+Aerodactyl fusion in IF (Water/Flying) and now i'm thinking about it's move set.
So far i reached LV45 and it's moves are:
-Fly
-Hydro Pump
-Crunch
-Roar

I'm thinking about removing Roar for Surf. I already got Surf on another Pokemon of my team but imo it always was a solid water type move.

bit late, but if i had to guess, those metagames likely dont have enough staying power to warrant a permanent ladder, so having them rotate in availability every few months keeps them interesting and keeps player numbers up when they are available. there's also custom servers you can use to play on them permanently, and i think you can direct challenge players to them as well.

Its a hack that expands the encounter pools so that most routes have upwards of 10 pokemon in it, and its designed so that every pokemon up to gen 5 is obtainable before the elite 4, with the exception of most legendaries, which are found in the post game. Also as is the nature of most Drayano hacks, alot if pokemon have been tweaked to be more competitively viable

To display the sheer amount of encounters you can get in the game, I'm doing a challenge where I catch every single pokemon I can find before each gym, not a true professor oaks challenge because I don't evolve them. This is what my pokedex looks like after 4 gyms

Serperior gets a big glow up in this mod, your starter is guaranteed to have its HA, which for serp is contrary, and the mod makes Serperior grass/dragon, meaning it can learn draco meteor

Contrary leaf storm and draco meteor is a baller combo

There are, but the story is relatively intact and the same for the most part, just slight tweaks to certain encounters

The biggest thing about the hack is the variety in encounters and tweaks and buffs to certain pokemon to make them more viable, plus the relative increases in difficulty (you can select a difficulty)

To show an example of how diverse the encounters are, here's an encounter table for route 19, the first route in the game:

The best stray might be to use a flying-dark type like Iron Jugulis. Oranguru is a normal/psychic type so that might also be helpful. This might also be the first time where Hariyama is more helpful than Iron Hands. Roaring Moon has a resistance against Fire and Ghost, but is weak against fighting.
