My current Black nuzlocke nearly ended at the first gym. I forgot how hard this gen was, especially with how they redid the exp gain.

There is no good grinding before the first gym because you don't get access to dream yard grass until you defeat the gym and get cut.

Anyways, only team member to survive cause lilipup hits like a truck was the gift panpour (which is my dream yard encounter).

Had to cheat to make it past the twins off route 3 since they won't allow you to fight them one on one. I took on the recently deceased to just.... sit there while panpour did the work. Immediately reboxed after the fight.

Minior is literally designed to not be very forward compatible tho. For one its cosmic design is definitely meant to be reminiscent of the box legends, but its lore literally says where it falls is super rare and Alola is one of the few locations in the world.

Unfezant has 100% crit chace on certain attacks with super luck and scope lens.

Krokodile has 2 spedd less than Unfeant.

Meaning you can always put all evs on speed and maybe even a choice scarf but that krokodile will always attack with that +6 attack.

Also unfezant has pretty shitty attack stat and acces to a dark type move which means you don't risk killing the Krokodile.

Not only is it a really good gen 1 remake, but it's also really charming and fun!

But Lurantis summons a Trumbeak that uses Rock Blast…

And one hits all flying type that I can use

All I have is Dartix which gets beaten up by X-Scissor, a Magnemite that can’t use any good moves on Lurantis, Charjabug which gets plucked to death by Trumbeak, Makuhita which gets solar bladed, Fletchinder that gets rock blasted, and a Starmie… and well it’s water.

My best bet is to use magnemite and kill Trumbeak but I can’t do shit

But even then any damage I do to Lurantis it just heals back.

And Lurantis absolutely wrecks magnemite with solar blade

It's a "King of the Hill" type situation. There's only one instance of each Legendary per server, anyone can challenge you (and if i recall, you can't refuse the challenges), and anyone who beats you gets the Legendary for themselves

if no challenge occurs for... some amount of time, i don't remember exactly how much, the Legendary just ditches you and returns to their spawn location
