Tail: make it like a ball socket joint. Put a round ball (likely a different color so you can tell it apart) on the tail/bottom of the body, with a straight joint attaching to the tail.

For the wings, if you want it to also have joints, draw a slot on the side of the body (horizontally, not vertically) with a straight rod connecting to the wing.

You would want the connections to the mid point of the wings, where they attach to the body is based on that. As for the wires, in a mech, you'd rarely see exposed wires in a set up like this, so if you do have visible wires, they'd typically be sheathed cables (i.e., insulated cables, often in black, but could be a different color) placed very close to the axle between the segments.

So as to prevent the loose wires snagging and getting caught on components.

interesting, but the night sky does need some depth, i usually grab a ''waterpaint brush'' as its called in my art program, its a nice soft brush, make the opacity like 50% and then use ligther and darker shades of the main base color and just start moving it around, the different colors with their different opacitties give skies some depths when used imo, but just and idea, i ama bit curious how you made this though? it seems to eb a mix of digital and actual paint for the trees or are those photo's?

Actually it took me like one hour, I found a way to make pixel art good and fast

I make the lines with a 1 pixel scaled pen (it will look ugly) then add the colors underneath, then mask the layer of the lines and adjust the one with the color to fix the issues here and there and make the drawing clearer

It's important to use a pen tool rather than a pencil, because it makes the drawing more readable and keeps the lines more natural, which makes tracing way easier and a bit better
