You're missing the point that animations aren't intended to be freeze framed lol. Even animated television and movies can look awful when freeze framed, because shocker, they're not meant to look great still.

So yeah nine times out of ten, freeze framing an animation (whether it's a sprite or full animation) isn't going to look amazing mid-animation
