that's a cool concept. Read a comic once with a similar concept for Leafeon, except it was more a seasonal thing; the leaves would grow orangish in autumn, brown and withered in winter (and the leafeon would be a lot less active to conserve energy), then green with pinkish tips in the spring (and the leaves wouldn't be fully open yet) and usual green in the summer.

yeah, custom sprites take time and there's a lot of them to get through unfort so might be awhile yet. Plus some are a bit trickier than others unfort.

These are Ultraterrestiral Pokemon, pokemon from alternative universe that developed far differently then our own.

The concept is for each of them to feel far more intimidating then normal starters, cause as Pokemon from the depths of Ultra Space, it can be far from the habitable world of Pokemon that we know

Cyndaquil is based on mountain tops and wolverines
Totodile is now based on hydroelectric generators and the concept of the death roll, a move actual gators use to attack and consume prey
And Chikorita is based on quadrupedal robots, solar panels, and depictions of evil/dangerous robots in media

These are rough concepts atm, but i'm happy with how they turned out

I like the concepts but I don't think they really feel like alternate universe pokemon persay, especially since they're all based off things very real, common, and almost obvious to our own world lol. Maybe the chiko, but the other two literally just look like regional forms. Look at ultra beasts and try to get a feel for what makes them feel so alien and unusual maybe?

Like if you didn't try to sell me the whole extradinension thing I'd just say it's a fakemon region

The sprite is sized up by 3 times, and in general is around 5 pixels taler than classic castlevania sprites (closer to what the last faith seems to be doing)
