Thank you! I am using pixquare, and can increase the size by 3, to 192x192. Multiplied by 4 is 256x256. I don’t see an option to set a specific resize goal. Are you familiar with the app?

Inspired by a mix of celtic/irish/scottish mythology

The first stage is just a water made blob.
The second stage is inspired by selkies (giving it a seal snd human mixed appeal)
Final stage is inspired by the citein-crion, an often overlooked but highly feared sea beast from scotland.

Only thing im nto sure of is the final typing.
Either its a pure water line (seeing every stage is 100% made of water)
Or a water dark
Or a water fairy (seeing the selkies connected to fea lore)

It’s one of the best mystery dungeon arpgs I’ve encountered and they don’t restrict you to fusing only 2 mons (you can fuse up to 4) so you can get Really crazy and creative with designs!

half pixels mean that, instead of each pixel being equal size (like on the left), they're sized differently (like on the right)

that's why you wanna make sure you have sprites in 1x pixel size when editing them instead of editing them when already sized up.

My best art of 2024 comes mostly from a thingo that I made with the sole intention of letting myself be bad
1st - proud of these clouds which I made that can be moved around in any configuration, these are 3 “rooms” in a maze thing I made
2nd - This is part of a recurring joke with my friends where I introduce a scene, in this case, “It’s some bushes” and then move to the second slide “Wait, no they’re not”, then to the third slide “and they’ve got knifes!”
3rd - I just love the progress I visibly made while making this sprite, the electricity effects look so good and were really fun to make

if this is intended to be a theme of a battle that will repeat itself multiple times, I’d suggest making the build up a bit faster to avoid boredom, it can be really underwhelming to go back to a very simple version for a long portion of the tune
Additionally I think the pause is too long
and the melody is too hard to pick out from the drums, and it needs to be something less smooth in order to be cleared
