This looks good! I would say you could give it some black outlines here and there though. In my studies of the Gen 2 sprite style, I learned the sprites had 3 colors. Black, and two colors for the Pokémon to use with the white being the transparent/background color.

Not really? Wings in general especially ones with skin instead of feathers follow one mapping.
Best way to describe it is that it’s like the arm of a person, but the fingers are elongated supporting bones of the wing webbing, and the thumb is the claw/visible finger
