I made a new mole Pokémon + evolution to help a friend in his fanmade region project "Kentakki" (which is based on the state of Kentucky and is close to Unova much like Kanto and Johto, although not directly connected)

Both are Fight/Ground type (yes it's misleading because of the rocks all over the body but we wanted to use a type combination that isn't used by any Pokémon yet)

Clumsy Rock Pokémon

Rojkab entry 1:
It is covered in a thick layer of dirt. It uses Roggenrolas to bulk up its rock fists.

Rokjab entry 2:
When it clashes its own fists, it can create a soundwave of 200 dB to guide itself through dark caves.

Quarrybuster entry 1:
It often trips over due to its disproportionately small legs. It can be seen eating hard objects to strengthen its jaw, but sometimes its teeth crack.

Quarrybuster entry 2:
It prefers to sit down while camouflaged with the ground as it awaits for prey to strike a lethal punch.

I need some ideas for a completely own Pokemon.
I have the basic idea already in mind so what it should be and what should be its speciality.
I am not sure which types it should have.
It should have a combo that is neither mega OP but also not have too many common weaknesses.

Basic idea is the following.
A lizard-like Pokemon which is able to make whistling sounds.
To do this, it stands on its hind legs and takes its tail between its paws.
On the tail there is a system (of whatever kind, that would vary partly by type) of holes and a kind of mouthpiece.
The first evo has 4 such holes and the second 12. the number comes from ocarinas, 4-hole and 12-hole are the most common sizes.
There are also 6-hole (potential middle evo?) or ones where one side of the 12 hole is doubled so has 16 or 17 holes (also has a separate windway for this doubled area).
Female versions would produce higher tones than males as they are smaller and have a smaller resonating body.

I had thought for example of plant, on the body could be then tubes like from bamboo or such. Or rock where then in the stone crust are holes.

Shiny variants for all my Pokémon fusion drawings. I don't really know how shinies are determined in IF so I just allowed myself to pick any colors present on the ingredient's shinies, megas included in Gengar and Garchomp's case

In IF they just make a hue shift for shinies. Like you take the whole image as one layer and then change the color of that layer by a set value.
Last time I checked in the file it was 75

I’m having a hard time making this look like “official” Pokémon art

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, it’s just this slight “off ness” throughout my work that looks downright unprofessional

I think it might be that some parts look flat while the rest looks official

For the first one, it seem to be the front legs

The second, I think, might be the forehead and the front right leg, it looks good but the purple part of the forehead feels like it doesn't match the angle, and the leg could probably be lifted slightly to add some fake depth

Honestly, the last one looks super good, I think the claws might need some attention, but other than that, I love it

'course i'm just a pixel artist, so this is more opinion than anything

Do you need proportions advice or?

I'd suggest if you're trying to do the proportions of it, try drawing them in either a T-pose or an A-pose.

Then from there play around with beefing up or slimming down certain parts to see how those look.

the problem is that starting with an A-pose doesn't let me see what the character will look like in its very important iconic poses; I almost have to find a way to work backward to make things work.
really wish I knew how to 3d model; I'd make a really rough proportions body and experiment with attempting to get these four poses and seeing if it looks the way I want it to
