This menacing thing has a gimmick that it uses the souls of sinful people as fuel to make black fire for its signature move Igniting Retribution that puts burn on the enemy and stat raises your mon

So it's half of calm mind with damage and burn

And as all most recent signatures go it has a power of 120 which is enough to ban it to ubers if it were to become real

Just finished this fakemon idea i had. Its a land whale cuz whale evolution like the new ice mon. Psychic/Ground, it can move around sand and build walls with it (walls, whales, eh?) the wall theme is also why the blockyness in the evo is there.

This pokemon is meant to represent the dutch dikes, their basically big sand walls that protect us from the sea level as we are technically underneath it.

The idea is that this mon is like a friendly giant (kinda like a whale) who helped humans in the pokemon version of the Netherlands. Maybe there was some flood and these pokemon helped, or by the way these pokemon build with sand it inspired the humans to make the dikes.

Been doing a variant evolution for some time. Glamet is eh honestly (never liked Glalie, the fat icy snowball-meteor), didn't know what to do with it. Froslad is a male only evo instead of a female only, with a bit of a medieval theme for all.

It's possible, this was just my first attempt for a variant of this line. I don't do variants often, usually just random fakemon and whatnot. @pure monolith I'm going to make Salamence/Kingler. Would you like to draw a design for it? I've been impressed by several other designs you've made.
I'm thinking bubbles will be involved, possibly influenced by dragon-ness. Probably coming from a claw rather than mouth though; Pokemon cares more for coolness than earth biology. Sala's pointy wings influencing the pincher, probably? Don't really have anything for the overall look though, so, second reason to ask.

Bubbles provide extra sparkly shit, which of course makes everything better. (I say hot off the heels of Jirachi/Ho-oh)
