Playing with a controller is not a native fonctionality though. So I wouldn't say it's possible. I would say there is workaround to trick the game into thinking you are using a keyboard when you really are using a controller. But that require the use of a third party software

Yes it's safe and your randomizer settings will stay the exact same. You don't have to rerandomize anything, unless you want to try the new randomizer type

there is no actual "backsprite". those were removed for all pokemon to reduce the amount of png (we already have 120 000 + png with juste 1 sprite for each fusion. )

My best guess would be that its not an actual png. that someone made a thing in whatever format and rename it as png . renaming a file doesn't change it's format. Maybe rpg maker is trying to open it and fail ?

Apologies if this has been answered before, though I cannot find anything pointing to it through the search - I'm trying to start a randomized game in 4.6.2 and am getting the following error at the "Randomize Wild Pokemon" stage regardless of setting. Install looks correct so far, and all other randomization options seem to work fine.

You could either start a game on the last version, then switch to 4.6.2
Or don't randomize wild pkmn (or whatever crashes it) and turn on that setting later on in pewter city Pokemon Center

Check if you have a file named game.BACKUP in C:/%username%/Saved Games/Pokémon Infinite Fusion/. If it's there rename it to Game.rxdata and try to launch the game.

It's probably because of the badly encoded accent in the file's title. It should say Pokémon, but it actually says Pokémon
It happens with a few of the bgm files. This is because for a lot of the music I just ripped it from youtube and didn't bother changing the title. I'll fix it for this one because it's only used in one map, but it can be a pain to fix it everywhere for the other tracks.
That being said, it should work if you change Pokacmon to Pokémon , exactly with the squiggly A and the copyright symbol.

Doubles are just different sprites for fusions that already have sprites, you don’t need them, you can just look through them if you prefer one design over another

Hey, running into a fair few bugs? I installed the latest version of the full game, just to clarify. Notable bugs thus far have been:
Game crashes whenever I try to look at the summary of any egg, or when trying to mouse over the egg in the PC. In addition, game crashes when egg is about to hatch.
There was also a separate bug where when using the NxtGen UI where every so often a capture would just break the battle system?
This was the egg hatching bug code
I'm using version 4.7
Trying to figure out how to actually...play the game, since I have an egg in my inventory that will crash the game the instance that it hatches or I try to drop it off in the PC

is it normal that you cant unfuse a pokemon part of which was obtained in a trade? So i fused the tyrogue you get in a npc trade with a caught nidoran, but afterwards i cant unfuse them again? Dunno if this is the correct channel for that, if not, i am sorry^^

you're correct, in Violet City you can pay 50k pokedollars to trick a traded pokemon into thinking you're its owner, at which point you can unfuse it

It keeps the Trainer ID of whichever pokémon you select first while fusing, which in this case was probably the tyrogue.

Just installed the game, and I'm getting a mostly black screen. The menu music plays, and the game seems to respond to some inputs; like if I press Enter a few times, the music will stop, the text disappears, and the black background turns white. After a few moments, I get a script error:

The game has run relatively fine up until now (running on 4.7.0.2.), but I opened up the game today to find that the stats of the middle 2 are just completely screwed up. The locations and met at lvl x are also incorrect, showing "Celadon Dpt. Store / Met at Lv. 28.8." and "PokeMart / Met at Lv. 14.4." respectively. The exp stats and movesets are still normal.
After some testing, I found out that Update Man doesn't help, however unfusing leaves the bodies at the exact same screwed stats, while the heads go back to normal. How the hell do I fix this?

This is an issue I'm having too. If you stay in the battle for too long the error message will appear again and the game will crash. Just make sure to end the battle quickly and save.

That's not what it means. The BST setting is for difference in BST. The higher the number, the more varied in strength the pokemon will be.

It is, actually. Fireboss asked what BST stands for, not what the BST setting did. It stands for Base Stat Total.
The "BST setting" uses the "BST" value as a benchmark for determining the general range of allowed pokemon for randomization. As you say, the higher the number, the more varied in strength the pokemon will be, but that is the answer to a different question entirely.

You might have a scheduled task running at night, like antivirus software doing a scan or an HDD on a defrag schedule causing conflicts, or it's just in your head.

So I was just after brock in the patch where they said hidden ability pokemon were. I was grinding and found a LV 9 Sunkern. I decided to catch it. However for some reason after catching it, the game froze, and a blank box that simply said "Application Error" happened.
Anyone know what this could mean? or is this just a simple crash?
Edit: I just found another sunkern and caught it. I didnt receive any errors. I guess it was just a random crash.
