Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

1. Delete your old game or launcher folder.
2. Reinstall from either option in #downloads

Hey @hollow moat! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

I also had this issue with raticate in the past before reinstalling to update, and back then I even decided that it was probably the joke (raticate=eradicate? hehe) but now raticate is back to normal. but I just ran into a trainer with a kadabra - just a kadabra unless it's a self-fusion - and that's not there!

I started the pinkan Island's quest with the rocket team (the one who take away every pokemon and object from you). I made my way to the forest where we're supposed to collect the HM strenght. I gave the berry to the pokemon, I beat him and he proposed, like the other, to to teach it to one of my Pokemon but at the time I didn't have any pokemon that could learn it so I passed. After that he disappear but there was no pokeball to pick up. I tried to make progress but without stenght I cannot move the rocks. I restarded the game, but the pokemon wasn't there and neither the HM. In short, I'm stuck ☹️

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Hey @oblique iron! Black screen in this game is the loading screen. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer and YOUR internet.

• If you get the message below while opening the game, this means to stop clicking/pressing buttons on the screen as it is loading.
• If you get the message after the intro animation, turn off your internet and try again. If the issue persists, turn off download data as well. (This will cause missing sprites if you used the lightweight installer!)

hmmm..... I mean you could do some stuff if you just want the raikou but if you want to try and fix this..... I would probably first try and re install PIF, you could keep the current install folder even and just install a parallel version in another folder and see if it remains the same, your saves won't get impacted so that being the easiest thing might be the best starting point

As soon as I got the boots, I saved the game. It's just that when I reread the NPC's message, it said that the boots are deactivated when you close the game, so you just have to reactivate them in your inventory.

tbh this got me a bit interested so I peeked around the code and found most of it is in the 005_Overworld_RoamingPokemon.rb file so I can make a few assumptions for the cause and see how it could be glitched out in the save but......
I would imagine making a temporary edit to the code in the 003_Overworld_WildEncounters.rb code def for wild encounters, and temporarily changing it to say always result in a raikou encounter and then reverting it back would at least allow someone to catch one but I also know that is far beyond what most people would do

Getting a bug with the game. Have unlocked triple fusions and the Pokédex entries don’t show. Like the descriptions for each Pokémon is bugged out and instead says there is no custom entry, turn on auto generate which is weird because I have it on plus there are only the default entries made by the game devs I think. Also, could this bug exist if I use debug mode to set the fusion egg to 1 step?

All I did was use debug mode unlock the item versions of HMs to get to the lake of rage and the bell tower city to unlock and officially complete the events to unlock kyurem, Reshirom and Zekrom as well as use debug mode to check that I unlocked all the johto gym badges to unlock the mt sliver event. (Completed the Kanto region without debug mode on a separate save to experience the game)

Have a couple issues with the training cards in the preloaded version. Game is not loading for Bars-Boach and Sewers, There is a purchasable card named Cinnabar but no texture is in the picture folder for it and the Team Trapinch image file is 576x432 instead of 512x384 which is causing cropping issues.

Was able to kinda fix Bars-Boach by renaming it to Bars_Boach but now the cropping is really off. Might be in the wrong channel for this though.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps to fix:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF
   Note: If you are on Expert Mode, you can go to the help man and switch back to Classic rather than turning off random trainers.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Because since you recently reinstalled, its probably at the download cap

The problem is that his team changes completely every time you fight him, and most of his team isn't Normal-type.

How odes one go about getting audio to come through? Volume mixer on my PC has it set to 100 by default. F1 just brings up keybindings

Be aware, controllers will be auto mapped to buttons depending on which controller you plug in.
