Hey there, I play on the steamdeck and I started playing the regular version of the game by adding it to steam the running it through Proton and it's been going mostly great, aside from being a bit choppy from time to time, right up until I got surf and now everytime I try to surf it's like a PowerPoint presentation so I wanted to load up the performance mode one instead but it seems as if my save file isn't loading on that one, I'm 6 gyms deep 😅

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

This game does not work while inside a OneDrive folder. If you see a status column in your game folder or your filepath has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause you several issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Attempt to run the game. If your problem is fixed, you do not need to do anything else. If your problem is not fixed or new problems arise, continue to step 3.
3. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below tp show hidden folders if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock and index.lock
   4.. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

I am not sure if this belongs here, but a quick note:
I am leveling a Combusken and Bibarel fusion against the lady with the meoth fusions left to Lavender Town. I am swapping the pokemon on her electric meowth (her pokemon are fully evolved by now as fas as I know) to my Jumpluff-Golem Fusion. When I swap back once she thows her Jynx-persian fusion out, my brick breack looks and sounds like Bubble for some reason. But it is still super effective, so I guess it is still using the attack I clicked...

Well, I tried doing everything I could think of before asking anything, but here we are... I uninstalled and reinstalled the game about 5 times, even wiped the recycling bin like 3 of those times.... Tried the preloaded download twice.... and still cant get the game to launce for more than just the loading screen before it closes without any message....

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, you can either download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID) or use the alt download (mentioned at the bottom of this message)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

So I recently downloaded the game on Linux, and there are a few issues:

• When it boots, the scale isn't set right no matter how many times I set the scale size and the setting doesn't save.
• when in game, the movement is slow and stuttery, but otherwise everything else plays at the standard speed; battling, menu navigation, dialogue. I followed the Linux instructions and used Bottles and everything. What should I do?

most common reason for that happening is onedrive

This game does not work while inside a OneDrive folder. If you see a status column in your game folder or your filepath has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause you several issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Attempt to run the game. If your problem is fixed, you do not need to do anything else. If your problem is not fixed or new problems arise, continue to step 3.
3. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below tp show hidden folders if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock and index.lock
   4.. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

Starting a new game with randomizer will re-randomize arena trainers and gym leader with the re-randomize option turned OFF. I triple checked and made another new game and rushed to brocks arena. Arena Types are randomized if that is relevant even if the arena trainers have the wrong type, but i heard this is a known bug.
What you were doing in game when the issue arose: Fighting in the first arena.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

I found a bug I think. So after I defeated the Plasma grunts in the lab, I was down to 1 pokemon left. So when I came to battle genesect right after, I was swiftly defeated by it.

i had infinite fusion running in bottles on my linux system (zorin os 18 core on a ryzen 3250U laptop with radeon graphics with 4gb ram) (as the guide said i should) and since it was laggy, i decided to go from full screen to xl screen, big mistake, because that froze my gui (possibly because i was also running firefox in a smaller window) and i had to go to tty3 and do sudo poweroff in a terminal to get my system back. Does anyone know why this happened? Also its REALLY slow even though my ram usage only goes to ~2gb and my 4 cpu cores all to ~10% usage. Would it be better not to use bottles?

If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is not going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.
