This isn't really a pc problem tho, my previous (Far worse, ran things at 20 FPS and min graphics which the new one can with 200 FPS and max graphics) didn't have this issue even on an odler version of the game.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Hi, I’m playing the game on Windows on version 6.7.2, got the game by following the Lightweight guide on this server.
I was playing the game just fine until some time ago and then, when I tried to open it, the game would stay in the initial black screen and eventually crash. If I try to open the game again nothing happens. But if I try to turn off my notebook, it doesn’t really turn off either, it blackens the screen but it’s still possible to hear it working. I have to forcibly shut it down. Opening the the performance game works, although most sprites don’t load and the game is a lot slower. I deleted the game and installed again and, to my surprise, I was able to play normally again. The thing is, when I tried to play in the other day, the same issue as before happened. What should I do?

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Hello! I have a question for anyone able to assist. I was able to play the game for the past week with no issues. Today, I tried to load the game and when it loads, my monitor goes black. The task bar shows the program is running but i cannot see anything. I restarted the Laptop and attempted to load the game again and the screen again went black. Then discord opened and as long as discord is on the monitor i can see the game but when i minimize discord it goes black again.

Hey @crude saffron! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Hey, I'm trying to play (gaming laptop, Nvidia 4060) but unless I keep the game as the default very small window, it will start flashing (Seems like the window tried to resize itself every few seconds) even if the game runs fine. I tried changing the size by extending my window manually and by the game options but it's the same. I looked for similar issue but none got a real answer.

The performance exe seems to work fine in any size. Juts not sure what's the difference and if it's worth trying to resolve the issue to play the main game

if you have the game like that, take it out of fullscreen, it is stressing your GPU

the 4060 isn't super great but it is possible that since it is a 40 series card, that alone is causing the problem

this game and newer tech don't always get along well

Iirc they have confirmed that in full screen, the game trying to fill in the gaps between each pixel since its trying to compensate for newer graphics on an old ass engine

like the game is built for 8bit? but you're trying to force 64-bit on it, thats 56 bits on color the game cannot read

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

Your game is not working properly!

Hey, so near the beginning of my playthrough, I opened the randomizer menu but backed out after the warning that it’d lock shit (cause I forgot about it), but even tho I didn’t do anything my save file says I’m playing on Random rather than Remix. Any way to fix this?
