REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.

I'm sure you can put effects over the map since those are all pictures but that's a lot of files XD But I don't know if there are any images that are just shaders you could overwrite. I'll nose around the graphics folder

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, go to #ask-a-bot and type in ?tag altdownload and reinstall with the guide that Deino replies with. This is only meant for Windows devices. If you’re on a non-windows device, you already have all spritesheets pre-installed which means you just need to turn off download data!

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

heya, downloaded the game after a few months of not playing and all the sprites, even ones that were custom ones on older saves, have since all been turned into default sprites, is there some way to fix this?

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type `?tag altdownload` in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

actually it looks like the second one disappeared at some point, i've only got one currently. He did give me infinite splicers twice when I talked to him, though

Also had another bug that I resolved in case anyone else comes across it. The console was showing warnings that the InfiniteFusion file couldn't be found and gave a reminder to check the file name spelling. This was strange cause it was the same file that was extracted from the zip, never touched the naming. A quick "renaming" and suddenly it worked.

Hey @quiet timber! Magic Boots are an IN GAME reward for catching all unfused 501 Pokemon in a non-randomized file (Dex number 1-501). After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with them. Putting them on will unlock DEBUG options that you can play with.

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

For windows only!

If you're using the Launcher:

Delete your old launcher folder.
Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
Open the settings tab
Click "Reset Config"
NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
Install/Update the game files.

If you're not using the Launcher:

Delete your old game folder.
Reinstall the Lightweight installer in a NEW folder from Here

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

Open your game folder
Double click SaveFile
Double click the folder named backups
Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

For windows only!

If you're using the Launcher:

Delete your old launcher folder.
Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
Open the settings tab
Click "Reset Config"
NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
Install/Update the game files.

If you're not using the Launcher:

Delete your old game folder.
Reinstall the Lightweight installer in a NEW folder from Here

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

Launcher and Lightweight both work. I personally prefer the Light weight because it skips like three extra steps needed for the launcher but the launcher does give a convenient hub to where to import sprites, where your saves are, and a couple other things

Launcher may be discontinued in the future is another reason I recommend LW

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type `?tag altdownload` in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

in regards to the double sprite you posted, does one have a credit underneath? if so, that means the game hasn't had a chance to grab the correct sprite from the repo

y interval between sprite acquisition

game stops sending pings to the repo

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

Open your game folder
Double click SaveFile
Double click the folder named backups
Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

You can change the settings in game to be hold or toggle, see the image below!

When set to Hold, the speed multiplier can be set up to x10
When set to Toggle, the speed will cycle through x1, x2, and x3

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

Note: Ensure you know which save file is corrupted before continuing. You can see the save slot on the save selection screen.

Open your game folder
Double click SaveFile
Delete the save file causing issues.
If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

Don't know if I am in the right chat, but everytime I fight a mandatory trainer (as far as I know) in the 8th gym I get this error and the game crashes.

To fix crashes on specific trainers in legendary mode:

Leave the area (if in a building, go outside)
Toggle trainers from classic to remix (or vice versa)
Go back to that trainer and try again.
After the battle, you may change the trainers back to their original setting.

If you get a different crash when you toggle the trainers, try moving to a different area.

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type `?tag altdownload` in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

For windows only!

If you're using the Launcher:

Delete your old launcher folder.
Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
Open the settings tab
Click "Reset Config"
NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
Install/Update the game files.

If you're not using the Launcher:

Delete your old game folder.
Reinstall the Lightweight installer in a NEW folder from Here

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

if i import the full spritepack into my game, does each sprite in the pack replace the ones already in the cache (one listed 1.1b gets replaced with the 1.1b being imported) or does it get added to the list (if there's already a 1.1b, the new 1.1b just becomes 1.1c, 1.1d, etc.)? also does it skip ones that are already in the cache (if cached 1.1b and the imported 1.1b are the same, don't add it)?

Also remember to check their Pokedex entry to change their sprite to an alt sprite. Easiest way to get their is to go to their Summary tab and scroll all the way to the right until it opens their Dex page

Like to report a but on remix mode. After defeating one of brocks trainers I was able to walk all over the gym and out of the boarders. I used the de bugger and followed the instructions and can still walk all over the pokemon center and out of the boarders.

Black screen is a loading screen. Once you hit enter / space bar on the open animation intro, it's going to load , just wait. The duration of how long it takes is based on your internet and your hardware.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

Open your game folder
Double click SaveFile
Double click the folder named backups
Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type `?tag altdownload` in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

you likely just hit a cap.
the game can only download X amount of sprites per time unit Y.

importing a save means it has to download a ton of them quickly. because you already have a lot of pokemon.
thus hitting this limit

instead of the slow downloading during normal gameplay.

slim quarry hey just redownloaded the game for windows and it installed well but im having t...

essentially same for me. I was able to play it the past few days, but yesterday and now again today, i try to open the game, the window starts loading and i can see it but then my WHOLE screen will go black. If i press Windows key and can see the bottom task bar, the game has dissapeared, no pokemon fusion icon open anymore, so i can't figure out how to clsoe the game to fix the problem. I just have to shut my whole compter down in order to correct the black screen.

Open the game and repeat. I just restarted my computer and am glaring at the game icon.

I don't think it is the loading screen, it is after the loading screen, sometimes before i even select the save file, sometimes after.

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, go to #ask-a-bot and type in ?tag altdownload and reinstall with the guide that Deino replies with. This is only meant for Windows devices. If you’re on a non-windows device, you already have all spritesheets pre-installed which means you just need to turn off download data!

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

For windows only!

If you're using the Launcher:

Delete your old launcher folder.
Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
Open the settings tab

The move teacher can now teach pokemon after unfusing moves they are not supposed to know. Is this a feature or a bug? I think its interesting but feel bad using moves the pokemon shouldnt be able to use if its not part of the learnset/fusion.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

We still have copper cables. We have been asking to replace it with fiber optic and the only service provider available is just "We're working on it" and they said expect it Janurary about 2 years ago and now their current statement is I believe 2027

hello so when I booted up the game for the first time on my pc it was fine, now when I start up the game it lets me click play and goes through the main intro screen, I mean the animation until i click start. Once I click start it fades to a black screen and stays there until i get a message that says the RGSS script is stuck, what do I do because like I said the game is stuck on a black screen after i click start, but it doesnt do that when i redownloaded the game on my first boot up but now does it everytime and I can't play the game
