For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type ?tag altdownload in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

So uh... I may have accidentally broken the game somehow, and I don't know how to fix it. The full story of what happened, if it helps , is that I went to the Move Teacher in Saffron with a Krookodile, exited out of the menu without teaching any moves, and then I went to another Pokemon in my party and selected them. Now it throws this error at me every time I attempt to use the Move Teacher's services.

I tried going to the Help Man so he could reset my parameters, but that didn't do anything to fix the problem.

Description of Issue+Steps for Reproduction: The game crashes upon selecting a Pokemon to be taught moves by the Move Teacher. It probably sounds self-explanatory, but to reproduce it, you simply go try and teach a pokemon a move via the Move Teacher.

What I Was Doing In Game: I was at the Saffron City Pokemon Center trying to to use the Move Teacher to get my Krookodile better moves. It worked once as expected, though I didn't have any moves taught before exiting the move menu for said pokemon. After exiting the menu, it crashes the game after selecting a Pokemon unless I have gone and taught them a TM.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Using the in-game option for Full Screen can strain your graphics card and lead to Graphics issues, flashing, green lines, and more.

We recommend setting the Screen Size option to a lower setting and dragging the corners of the window to make the screen larger instead for computers having issues.

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

For windows only!

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Delete your old launcher folder.
2. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
3. Open the settings tab
4. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

Good evening. I would like to report that I just encountered a bug. I am putting the message in a spoiler because it concerns the capture of one of the legendary Pokémon.

||It's about the quest to capture Cresselia and Darkrai. I followed the wiki, and I got to the point where I had to choose between following Cresselia's path and Darkrai's path. I chose Cresselia's path and did what needed to be done. Cresselia gave me the new feather and asked me to put it in the bed on her island. The problem is, I can't interact with the bed. I can get into it, but I can't put the feather down. So I chose Darkrai's path (staying on the same save file, I didn't reset it). I got the corrupted feather, I put it on Darkrai's bed, but the game acts as if it were Cresselia's. So now I have Cresselia and I'm in the process of capturing Darkrai.||

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

Can anyone help with the gamepad controls for android? The Android controls only list 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. buttons, but I'm not sure how they map to typical controls like 2nd button quick scrolls, 3rd button is back, etc. Is there a explanation of that for easier Android button mapping? The PIF: Official Android Guide was very unclear to me. (I attached the images from the "how to change controls" section of the PIF Official Android guide)

So I've put all of the custom sprites into the folder, and some of them definitely show up in game, but a lot of them don't? As an example, the Darkrai/Hydreigon fusion has the default 347.377 and 347.377a sprites show up, but not 347.377b - any reason why that last one doesn't show up? And any fix available?

I'm battling a trainer's Golduck/Totodile (Lv. 16) in the Mt. Moon cave with my own Shroomish/Wimpod (Lv. 20).

The Goldile is currently Paralysed.

When I attempt to poison it using Poison Spore, I am told the poison does not affect the Goldile.

This is despite the fact it has no ability or item - that I know of or can find - that renders it immune.

Is this intentional? Is there something I'm missing?

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Hey guys, I'm probably just being pretty stupid but I'm having a weird issue where my pc wont let me run the game. I extracted it and ran both of the .exe files and it told me I need a graphics card that supports OpenGL 2.0 or later... issue is I'm running a 9070xt which i'm pretty sure does at least from what I saw online. I played this game on a previous pc build with an Nvidia card so thats about the only thing that I can think.

Either the drivers are totally outdated / you dont even have opengl installed (kinda doubt this, as even the base driver for that card, which I also run, would have it)

Orrrr the game is trying to run on your integrated graphics.

First step would be updating drivers. Thats good to do once in a while anyway.

After that, if it isnt fixed, check/set the graphics device the game is prioritizing. Google will be your friend for that

Hi! Haven't played since 5.2.1 and I had it locally downloaded and it ran perfectly before.
Recently Downloading the latest version so I can update and launcher works perfectly, Where I can still play the game, but all of my fusion sprites i've seen are completely gone or missing, making my team the default generated ones instead of the custom sprites. (At the time was 1-90)

Importing the sprites locally also does not seem to help, as doing all of them causes it to be stuck on the black screen for a prolongue period of time, not working after dozens of minutes. I dont know why it worked completely fine before in the older version but is now just completely not working now.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata
