Hi I think I might know what happened to you I have a hunch that when you went to your PC you happened to have the right step count to trigger a gift pokemon we have in the game for porygon and the reason you can't recreate it is because your total steps taken has to be a multiple of 200 if I'm right there's absolutely nothing wrong with Ur game :)

Having trouble keeping up your chain? Read through the steps below.

1. Gather up Repels and Pokéballs of your choice. It is also recommended to have Elixirs, Ethers, or Leppa Berries as well to maintain PP.
2. Apply a repel outside of the grass ⬅️ and then enter the grass where your desired Pokémon is located. The Radar has its own built in Repel that only lasts 8 steps. The extra repel is for larger patches that would require more than those 8 steps. For small patches of grass, additional Repels aren’t needed
3. Use the Radar and interact with rustling grass until you find the Pokémon you are looking for, running away from any Pokémon you are not hunting.
4. Defeat or capture the Pokémon. Do not run away. More grass will be rustling around you. Choose a spot that is 4 steps away through grass tiles and is surrounded by grass on all sides. If such a location does not rustle, reuse your PokéRadar until it is. This will not break your chain.
5. Repeat step four until you find a shiny. You can use items between battles to maintain your Pokémon HP and PP.

After 20 battles, you have maxed out your Shiny chance. After 40 battles, you no longer risk breaking your chain based on grass distance however, having grass tiles around a spot is still important.

Hey @dapper marten! Magic Boots are an IN GAME reward for catching all unfused 501 Pokemon in a non-randomized file (Dex number 1-501). After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with them. Putting them on will unlock DEBUG options that you can play with.

I keep having an issue playing randomizer with wild fusions. At some point, the game always breaks, and the balanced wild fusions turn to unbalanced, unfused wild pokemon. This includes routes I've already been to.

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. Do NOT download the pack if you plan on also playing while connected to the internet. The spritepacks are also NOT meant to be imported on Android devices!

Nope, the game isnt designed to work with most controllers. best bet is to remap the controller with a third party.

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

hello, I am in need of some assistance regarding controller function. Been using a PS4 controller, decided to be cheeky and rebind some of the controls so i could play with 1 hand, and it worked fine. then i decided to be even cheekier and try using a joycon which, did not work, and now the PS4 controller won't work either and i'm sad.

Hi, I'm on Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon, version 6.4.8. I've follow the installation setup on the discord but i still have a problem with the game updater. If I update the game by the bat file inside the folder, the game won't lauch anymore. But if I delete the game and try to launch without the update, it works fine. I have tested it with Bottles and Heroic Game launcher and the results are the same. Guess I'll just play without the update

Do a full reinstall. Any version predating 6.6 has to be reinstalled.

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

Is the sprite server down or something? I’ve followed the above to a T and I still have no access to sprites. There are basic sprites for pokemon but I do not get the option to change them. When I navigate to “sprites” in the summary menu it just plays the “bumbum” sound for when you can’t do whatever it is you’re trying to do. Hey @formal bramble! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

So my save has recently gotten bugged to where it's now "randomized" yet I never changed any settings outside of difficulty. How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Delete your old launcher folder.
2. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)

4. Click "Reset Config"

Okay you might simply be having issues with performance

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. Do NOT download the pack if you plan on also playing while connected to the internet. The spritepacks are also NOT meant to be imported on Android devices!

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock
3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

Alternatively, you can either

1. Uninstall OneDrive (Recommended if you don't need OD for school/work)
2. Edit your OneDrive to not manage your PIF folder (Only if you need it for school/work)

At this point, you may have borked it and have to take the .zip and re-extract a new folder in DOwnloads, deleting all the old files

But when I open the game in the joiplay mentioned it laggs too much

So I downloaded joiplay and plugin from Google

The version are 1.20.023 and plugin 1.20.25
