The sprites are being monitored by staff and still work properly.
You need internet!!
read this whole message carefully to know what is applicable to your situation.

➡️ IF you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is fine and working properly.

----- the game can only download a limited number of sprites per time unit while playing before going on cooldown, you simply hit the maximum for now.

----- check you have your "download data" option enabled.

➡️ IF you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is not fine nor working properly.

----- This is likely the result of you messing with files, either to cheat or try to "fix" stuff. OR you have "download data" turned off in options.

step 1. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
step 2. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses > advanced > other > reset > reset sprite cache & reset alt selection
step 3. If that did not fix it: do a full reinstall.

step 1. delete your whole install

🔴 After following the applicable steps your sprites are working. If you encounter missing sprites it is simply because of the sprite download cooldown. Keep playing and sprites will show up.

Just caught Darkrai after doing the quest "Mysterious Lunar Feathers" running Crescellia path.
Sadly the quest isn't over after i'm back to Lavender town. Is it a bug?

the game grabs sprites, as it is able [via battling and fusing] assuming you:

• have download data turned on
• have an active internet connection

however, the game isn't able to dl sprites infinitely, so there is a cap on how many it will grab and how often it can grab them, before it has to take a break

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. Do NOT download the pack if you plan on also playing while connected to the internet.

New bug encountered (forgive me if it's already reported, I searched and did not find anything about it): After an ability pop-up appears, all subsequent pop-ups, regardless of ability, will still be labeled as the first. Purely visual, as the effect of the actual ability will still occur as normal.

Example: HA Snorunt survives a turn, and Moody procs. After swapping to a Ferroseed, whenever Iron Barbs is procced, the pop-up message still says Moody despite dealing the Iron Barbs damage.

I've also noticed this with Gooey, Speed Boost, and Wonder Guard. Other ability pop-ups might also feature this bug, but I've not noticed any other specific ones while playing.

• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!

• This is likely the result of you messing with files, either to cheat or try to "fix" stuff. OR you have "download data" turned off in options OR your device is not connected to internet.
  Step 1. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
  Step 2. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
  Step 3. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses > advanced > other > reset > reset sprite cache & reset alt selection.

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. Do NOT download the pack if you plan on also playing while connected to the internet.

Your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!

• This is likely the result of you messing with files, either to cheat or try to "fix" stuff. OR you have "download data" turned off in options OR your device is not connected to internet.
  Step 1. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
  Step 2. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.

If you're having this problem, I figured out how to fix it:
After reading a bunch of fixes, what worked for me was deleting everything BUT the saves:
Download and install the lightweight from discord (follow the steps!):
Open the game, agree to install sprites automatically:
When in game, walk up to Help Man (guy on the second floor of the pokecenter), go to "Sprite Options" and "Update sprites manually".
Somehow that actually made it download all the sprites prior the previous time the game asked for the sprites to be downloaded automatically.

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. Do NOT download the pack if you plan on also playing while connected to the internet.

Be aware, controllers will be auto mapped to buttons depending on which controller you plug in.

Somehow one my Pokemon got accidentally cloned, and I have no idea how it happened. It also cloned the Amulet Coin it was holding.

My team at the time consisted of that Pokemon and five eggs.

I can only think of three things that might have caused it:

The Eusine trade (though I gave Eusine a spare Shedinja I had, not the Pokemon that got accidentally cloned)

All I know is that when I went into the box system to sort the new Totodile, there was an exact copy of my party lead sitting next to it.

my game crashed when i tried to interact with pokemon in the pokemon appreciation club on kin island, is this a known bug or just a problem on my end? otherwise it seems to be playing fine and i can interact with the doduo outside with no issue, but ive tried 3 times and it will always crash if i try it (3rd time was to screenshot the error message, 2nd time to see if it was just something that restarting fixed). playing on PC on windows, v.6.7.0, downloaded from links from the infinite fusion download reddit post.

the game at current, downloads sprites as sheets, which take up far less space storage wise

the packs however are the individual png files

You should also only use the spritepacks if you’re strictly playing offline. Importing them while downloading them from the repo will give you a ton of dupes

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

I did. It's still cloned. But it's not a true clone. It seems to just be the same Pokemon in two places at once.

I removed the Amulet Coin and put it in inventory. It's the same Amulet Coin.

If I give it another item to hold, it shows both holding it as well.

I tried Help Man, but it didn't do anything. The Pokemon is still mirrored.
