Hey @gaunt zinc! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

it can take a few days [or a week or so] for stuff to get uploaded

best bet is just be patient and use the pokemon in question

once the sprite is uploaded to the repo the game will be able to grab in eventually

Hey @uncut pine! Magic Boots are an IN GAME reward for catching all unfused 501 Pokemon in a non-randomized file (Dex number 1-501). After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with them. Putting them on will unlock DEBUG options that you can play with.

For context on the device in case it plays a part, I'm on a Xiaomi POCO X6 Pro
1, while moving around in cities it some times freezes for a brief moment usually around the same tile of the each city this happens to

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Dealing with some sprite issues.
(You say even seeing one means the game is working fine so I just wanted to clarify.)

Some are clearly loading properly, while others that were previously loading fine have stopped.

Im traveling abroad this week and was hoping the files would work locally.

Are they failing to display new sprites because im not an good enough internet to download them as needed?

I can't seem to find basics (like caterpie) in the game files.

It seems to have more trouble with unfused pokemon.

as long as you have download data turned on the game will grab sprites as it is able, in the top right picture, that is an example of the game aknowlagding there is a custom sprite but it hasn't downloaded it yet

as for base mon sprites missing, you need to use that mon in battle or fuse it

same also applies for fusions you already have, though in their case just battling would be enough

unfortunately since you are on mobile, there isn't much I can recommend to fix your problem other than being patient

I seem to be having trouble getting sprites to download from a specific artist (atlas3339098). Is it possible that they just may be lower on a priority for downloading sprites or maybe their sprites got removed for some reason?

Not really too sure how the backend works for which sprites get downloaded first in the bursts of downloads you can get per time unit.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

(Update: I already grabbed the file from the video link and updated to 6.6.2, the following was process stuff and future proofing questions. It explains some of my "confusion".)

You can understand why that seems conflictingly confusing, I hope.

(Short version):
How much of the video guide should I follow as opposed to just using the link in the description to get the current file? Should I just grab whatever updates from here in the future or follow the video guide to have it do it automatically?

(Long version - the process):
Does this just means not to not to download the files the video says to? SteamOS tends to automatically grab new Proton versions unless GEProton is something different, but even when following the video, the GEProton version doesn't show up on the compatibility list, just the ones SteamOS natively grabs (mine being '10.0-2 Beta', but the stable Proton 9.0-4 is what I tested the 6.6.1 version of the game with and that worked fine.). GEProton10-15 never even shows up and I assume "Proton10.0-2 (Beta)" is better.

Originally, I didn't watch the video since I already had the "usual" process for installing non-Steam games like from Itchio downpacked (adding them to the Library, attaching them to the best Proton version, and going through the process of getting the game to see the Deck's controls when necessary (looking at you, Street Fighter X Mega Man!!).

A few things seem to not be exactly the same steps or I was dealing with a bug anyway, and I had already gotten the other version of the game to work without any of this.

Hey, I'm having issues with my game. The custom sprites are not loading properly, and I only have access to the auto generated and select few custom sprites. Does anyone have information on what could have caused this issue? Another note is that I've been transferring save files across systems, and that may be the root of the issue. It seems like draco meteor is not in the game due to the devs forgetting about it, rather than intentional design. I got the option to replace the file and did so. Idk if that was the right move but it happened to me when I used both the lightweight launcher and the Installer.

Also, I have some tech support to request as well. When I'm playing, I'm noticing a lot of seemingly missing frames and cut off boxes. For example, the Burn Status Effect is almost fully cut off.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)

Greetings! A while back I was here because, at the time, I had downloaded it from the wrong source but 100% the game regardless, and was granted an edited magic boots save-file from one of the mods (I cannot remember them unfortunately enough, and because it's been probably a year at least I cannot recall their name). Issue is, I'm wanting to play the game again from the very start but with the special trios of Pokémon that I couldn't transfer over from the old savefile as they'd always give errors, and I'm essentially asking if the magic boots can somehow give me those triple Pokémon or if there's a mod that can help me create such a savefile/how I could manually teleport over to Mt. Moon for the machine to work, so I can have those trio-fusion Pokémon from the very start of the game

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

➡️ IF you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

----- the game can only download a limited number of sprites per time unit while playing before going on cooldown, you simply hit the maximum for now.

----- check you have your "download data" option enabled.

➡️ IF you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is not fine nor working properly.

----- This is likely the result of you messing with files, either to cheat or try to "fix" stuff. OR you have "download data" turned off in options.

step 1. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
